Power Cable Systems Design and Engineering

We offer a thorough engineering and design service for power cables systems from feasibility studies through to end of life disposal. The design objective is to offer a choice, whilst ensuring reliability throughout the service life of the circuit. We have extensive experience on all types of cable and accessories, both state-of-the-art and superseded historic designs.

Product Inspection

Power cables and their accessories must be manufactured to a high standard and be capable of providing the service life expected by the cable system owner.

We provide manufacturing inspection and test witnessing services. Our consulting team includes experienced ex-cable manufacturing engineers who can, for example, give guidance on manufacturing defects and non-conforming products.

Failure Investigation

We have the expertise to lead root cause cable system failure investigations. We have performed many such investigations for cable system owners, operators and insurers.

We also provide an independent expert witness service where this becomes necessary.
